This part is responsible for the expression of cat1 gene derived from C. tyrobutyricum L319 with Pcat1 promotor. Pcat1 promoter is derived from C. tyrobutyricum L319. This part consists of Pcat1 sequence (BBa_K4119011), cat1 sequence (BBa_K4119031)，and terminator sequence (BBa_K3585002). cat1 gene encodes the butyryl-CoA/acetate CoA transferase.
